Education is a means to empower students.  Education is more than just a short span of time in a student’s life.  I work hard to ensure that my lessons can be a meaningful part of each student’s life.
Learning is an active process.  Students essentially learn by doing rather than by passively listening to the teacher.  For example, if a student studies English through stimulated role-play then the lessons are much more effective than studying solely from a book. The teacher should become more passive and the student more active as the lessons progress.
